CHAPPELL Reed Chappell studied in Memphis,
Tennessee under painter and art instructor Bill Hicks. Reed
attended college at The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan,
NY in the 1990s on scholarship. He has been pursuing a career as a
portrait artist since 1992 starting when he was still in
college. He has painted many socialites, a couple of movie
stars, physicians, lawyers, and the corporate elite as well
as their children and families from all areas of the United
States, specializing in Scottsdale, New Orleans and
Memphis.. His hobbies are reading, comic book
illustration, playing guitar, and he is also a movie
buff. Currently he lives in Scottsdale and
