Sublime beauty is on the agenda for tonight and this circa 1920s Carnelian Glass and Filigree Necklace is sure to receive ample praise from all in attendance. This alluring necklace is most likely Czechoslovakian in origin and features a bewitching centerpiece of three large carnelian glass cabochons on intricate, openwork and filigree golden panels. These large stones and their rich color are intriguing cosmopolitan chic. Smaller swirled and flourishing panels with pretty pink cabochons reveal a girlish charm filled with whimsy as they course across the necklace and between the carnelian panels. The centerpiece is held by a golden chain and the necklace is 15 and 1/2" long , 3/4" wide and closes with a spring ring clasp. When you make an entrance you don't want to be part of the crowd. ART DECO CARVED BEADS NECKLACE	Art Deco Blue and Ivory Painted Necklace Item VN43112 Now this is gotta-have-it jewelry! Crafted in impossible to resist colors of perriwinkle blue and ivory and with its fabulous geometric styling - you can’t go wrong! Sassy believes it is crushed and reconstituted ivory but may be some other type of composite. Each bead is meticulously carved in deep relief to create a beautiful design. Circa late 1920s, and very art deco, it has round beads with carved out decorations and these are separated with ivory colored triple disc shaped beads. On each side these are flanked by fabulous ornate wide cylindrical beads that are intricately carved and painted. They are separated with similar triple beads but are blue instead of ivory.
