Occasionally, Sassy runs across a Victorian hair bracelet but one with a pink PASTE (vocabulary) stone ? HAH! A rich and luxurious pink paste stone mimicking a pink tourmaline sits at its center disguising the push clasp. 120 to 140 years old, the stone has acceptable tiny flea bites along its edges and Sassy had the top of the stone polished professionally. It is bezel set and the engravings around the stone are tiny plumes which cover all three parts of the gold. Just slightly over 5 and 3/4" long, and worn by a petite Lady as a mourning bracelet made with the hair of her loved one. Amazing workmansip in the braiding and in the outstanding gold work, it comes from an estate in England. It is 15.6 grams gold and the hair is a rich chestnut brown with only minute fraying. Circa late 1800s to early 1900s, this magnificent cameo bespeaks of the Edwardian fascination with the Classical world. And who wouldn't be fascinated with the ancient world with antiquities such as this? Rare large cameo measuring 2" by 1 and 5/8" is a not to be missed artifact and perhaps a wealthy debutante's keepsake of her Italian trip. The closer you get the more gorgeous details you see. RARE ANTIQUE STERLING ENAMELED JEWELED & PASTE CHATELAINE	Sterling Enameled and Jeweled Sword Chatelaine (signed sterling) Item SVF7829 Everyone knows you're sharp, but you'll be transformed into a deadly femme fatale when you wield this superb sterling silver sword and scabbard chatelaine. This fine sterling and gold gilt figural is difficult to date but believed to be early 1930s although possibly as old as early 1900s. Powerful and pretentious, this spectacular sword has a profuse amount of pretty paste stones in a dazzling array of colors. Realistic pave faux diamonds cover the hilt and the scabbard's decorative elements. A claw set orange paste stone and soulfully hued round cabochons exude elegance upon the hilt and scabbard. Royal red enamel coats the scabbard and the enameling is perfect! There is a golden blade and fleur de lis hilt that presents all the Pomp and Circumstance you could ask for! All together, spread out, it is 11 and 1/2" long. The sword is 3 and 5/8" long and the jeweled sheath is 2 and 3/8". Closed with sword inside the sheath it is a magnificent 4" long by 1 and 1/4" wide with a chain dangling 4" longer.
