SOLD VICTORIAN 18K GOLD & 4
DIAMONDS CAMEO Victorian Strawberry
Blonde with Diamond Frame Cameo (tests positive for 18K
gold) Item VC8428 Outstanding antique 1890s
Victorian cameo of the gorgeous goddess, Flora.
She
is set in a unique, rich and lustrous 18K gold frame
accented with 4 mine cut diamonds and a pendant bale (which
was added some time later). Under the outer part of the
frame is a beautiful gold twist giving it a rich braided
look. Flora was a
goddess with a very special gift. She had a flower that made
women pregnant when they touched the flower.... oh if it was
that easy. (*_*) You didn't have to put up with a husband
and figuring out what time of the month it was or anything.
The cameo with its frame (not including the bale) is 1 and
1/2" long by 1 and 1/8" wide. The cameo is a work of art.
She is masterfully carved right at the juncture of the color
change in the conch shell taking advantage of the 2 colors.
She is carved in high relief with a showering of beautiful
reddish-blonde flowers in her hair that match her strawberry
blonde hair. The color continues into her pretty gown. A
flower also decorates the shoulder of her gown. Her face
is beautiful and she has an ivory complexion and sits
against a porcelain looking background. The pin closes into
a trombone clasp. Sassy suggests that it would be nice if
the pendant was attached differently so that it could hide
under the cameo when worn as a pendant. In fact, she feels
so strongly about it, that if you want it changed, she will
pick up the tab. The cameo appears to have been kept in a
vault all these years. There are no chips or stress
fractures visible to the naked eye. To say this cameo is
drop dead gorgeous, would be putting it mildly. The carving
is exquisite, the 18K gold frame incredible with real
diamonds. Breathtaking and rare, it is a highly collectible
antique. Excellent condition. Price $1200.00

Victorian Cameo (not signed) Item VC44444 Ahh! So
fabulous! If you're lucky and you've got a Jewelry Jane
Grandmother who's been buying jewelry since Alexander Graham
Bell was busy running the phone system, you've got a
wonderful box of jewels to look in and borrow from. You
might find a fabulous cameo such as this one. Measuring 1
and 3/8" x 1 and 1/8" and framed in 9K gold with fancy
prongs, the portrait is a so unusual, left sided portrait of
a lovely Lady. Beautiful caramel color conche shell
exquisitely carved with colorful accents in her hair band
and gown. Prettily coifed with romantic curls and softened
Roman features, the Lady's findings include an old style 'c'
clasp with lock, and a needle that sticks out farther than
the cameo. All those little details added up to a late 1800s
to early 1900s date for this exquisite piece. No need to
worry about the lack of helpful relatives. Sassy's cameo has
the cache of an heirloom and none of the hassles of Cousin
Cora demanding the cameo herself. So very Victorian,
exquisitely detailed carving and old findings add up to an
heirloom you'll keep for yourself. Excellent condition.

Hummingbird with Rhinestones Figural (not

as energetic as you is that fancy flying hummingbird you see
outside your window every morning that always makes you
smile. Carry that endless energy with you wherever you
happen to flitter off to with this circa 1930s celluloid
hummingbird figural. This pretty birdie is no stranger to
flattering fashion with a row of amber topaz rhinestones
racing down one wing. Careful detail was taken in making
this whimsical frequent flyer to give it the appearance of
movement though frozen in celluloid perfection. This
brilliant birdie measures 3 and 3/4" long and 2 and 3/4"
wide. No matter how busy you are you've always got a smile
on your face and a song in your heart and everyone is sure

LONG! 1930s Large Floral
Paste Stone Brooch (not signed) Item VB7753 "Did you
bring me flowers?" The lovely lady asked sweetly. "What
evening would be complete without them?" He replied. But she
was in for a surprise when he presented her with this circa
1930s floral brooch. Far better than a real bouquet and ten
times as beautiful, this enormous brooch has some shocking
flashes of color that invites envious stares. Red, blue,
pink, yellow, green, aqua and purple marquise-cut paste
stones create colorful blossoms on three pretty flowers
while green and purple round stones add accents of unopened
blooms. Pave-set faux diamond pastes mimic real diamonds
with their fiery blaze that gains even more heat from their
glitzy silvertoned, stem settings. This brooch is huge
measuring over 4 and 1/4" long and 2 and 1/4" wide. She
asked him to help her pin on the floral brooch to relish his
gentle touch. Tonight would be a night to remember forever.

Basse-taille Enameled Lily Brooch (not signed) Item
VB7775 I can hear the eternal laughter and smell the gentle
scent of her perfume upon the air every time I see the
picture of her wearing it. It's that beautiful Art Nouveau
brooch that evokes those romantic, nostalgic feelings. An
oval frame with a center cutout is made profound with highly
detailed basse-taille enameling (vocabulary)
over brass. Circa early 1900s, white enamel with silky wavy
lines is artistically displayed as tracings in curves, long
lines and angles peer out with a golden glow. A lovely lily
as bright as morning with a green enamel stem, aqua and
white petals and a subtle light lemon yellow center has a
realistic textured look. A second unopened bloom rises just
above it for added delight. The brooch measures 2 and 3/4"
long by 2 and 1/8" wide and has an old "C" type clasp. I
cannot wait to be back in her arms and see her once again
wearing that beautiful floral finery in all her glory.

WHITE GOLD FILIGREE CIRCA
1920s 14K White Gold Filigree
and 2 Diamond Cameo Habille' (signed 14K) Item
VC6351 She stands dressed in her finest raiment and
displaying the tokens of undying love he bestowed to her;
gleefully awaiting his return. This circa 1920s Cameo
Habille' conveys the emotion of eternal devotion to those
things we hold dear. Skillfully carved conch shell has been
transformed into a relief portrait of an idealized woman.
She is clothed in the finest silks and wears the loveliest
flowers on her shoulder. Two diamonds reflect burning
passion for life as they decorate her hair and a sparkling
silver necklace around her neck making her a true vision to
behold. Tinges of color shine through the relief carving
like golden rays of sunlight welcoming a new day and new
experiences that lie just beyond the horizon. An openwork
frame of 14K white gold filigree makes this startling beauty
a gift for the Ages. The full cameo measures a large size of
1 and 3/4" by 1 and 3/8". This museum quality Diamond Cameo

CELLULOID Art Deco Celluloid and
Paste Cameo (not signed) Item VBC5822 One look at
this incredible woman will let you know that this is no
ordinary lady. She has all of the airs of a steadfast
business belle that enjoys jewelry as much as managing the
day-to-day affairs of the workplace. Made of celluloid, a
sparkling paste stone earring decorates her ear and a faux
diamond paste pendant dangles from her neck as a sign of her
success. It's amazing how real these paste stones look
compared to real diamonds! Her lovely locks fall in tight
curls in the back and flows with flowers as the wind blows
from the front. Is she watching the construction of her new
headquarters? A hexagonal white metal frame captures this
beauty and surrounds her with arcs and long lines typical of
the Art Deco period. This powerful cameo measures 2" long by
1 and 9/16" wide. Female entrepreneurs of the 1920s had a
rare talent and strength that women of today have inherited
and this fabulous cameo will let you be both strong and
feminine all at the same time. Excellent condition. Price

Victorian Rare
Forget-Me-Not Sterling Bracelet (signed
Sterling) Item VSBR8622 "Oh my! Cover your eyes!
How could they possibly behave so scandalously?" Well, it's
love my dear! And there's nothing quite like the feeling of
that excited tingle in your tummy when you lean in for that
first innocent kiss that brews into a life-long passion.
This circa early 1900s Forget-Me-Not sterling bracelet
brings back a time when romance was far from raunchy and
still had a soul-stirring purity that brought blushes and
nervous laughter with even a passing glance.
Look
at the very fine detail on each of these pretty floral
bordered panels.
She's a fashion princess with her haute couture below the
knee skirt and him a dapper fellow with his top hat in hand.
What a lovely couple. This handsome bracelet is sterling
silver and has a rich patina. Sassy's staff polished it a
little leaving just enough patina to enhance the design but
it can be polished to be completely silvery and shiny
without black. Let her know if you want it polished more. It
is 7/8" wide and it will fit up to a 6 and 3/4" wrist.
It
closes with a solid link but otherwise hidden push
clasp. Times have
changed, but those exhilarating thrills of magical moments
and stolen kisses will always remain the same. Excellent
condition. Price $345.00 SOLD

CAMEO 1930s Art Deco Flapper
Fashion Queen Cameo (signed 14K) Item VC7458 What
makes the ideal woman? Classic cameo makers thought
Greco-Roman goddesses were worthy women. I, on the other
hand, think that those fabulous Flappers were the bee's
knees and you will too once you take a gander at this
glamour-filled circa 1930s Art Deco Flapper Cameo. An eager
Flapper fashion queen wearing a wide brimmed hat and a
risqué off the shoulder dress with two flower
corsages is the focus of this exceptional piece, that
represents fashion freedom! Carved in relief, she is a
stunner! An ornate 14K gold frame surrounds our fashion
conscious Flapper who is ever looking toward the next chance
to get out and dance. It sits in a beautiful openwork
frame... that is, there is an opening all the way around the
cameo (which looks like dark enameling in my photo). This
stunning cameo has a flip up bale so it can be worn as a
pendant or a cameo. It measures 1 and 1/2" long by 1 and
3/16" wide. Pay tribute to the women that helped make
stupendous style what it is today with a unique early cameo
which was made back then for the now Sassiest of Sassy cameo
