The story that unfolds as you look upon this circa 1920s exceedingly rare miniature porcelain cameo parure is one of good friends, fun and unending dedication. Ten fine ladies have had their vivacious visages lovingly transferred to miniature porcelain plates. The transfer process does an excellent job of conveying both the playful and poised moods of each daring woman. A closeup of the cameos on the right reveals the gaiety of this intriguing sterling silver parure as does this closeup of the left cameos. The bracelet's 4th cameo has a tiny chip. These are a minor flaws for a rare parure this old and does nothing to take away from the overall beauty and dramatic sensationalism of this knockout set! Sterling Roses in Frames Parure (signed sterling and earrings are signed 1/20 10k on sterling) Item VSP8069 Sculptural, arty and feminine! Wrought sterling parure evokes the Bohemian garnets of the 1940s in a sophisticated luxe condo way. When Michael and Frances Higgins were starting their life as art glass masters together and handmade, artistic sensibility was a reaction to the mechanized Deco decade, that is in the late 1930s or the early 1940s, some very skilled jeweler crafted this stunning set. A necklace of roses designed as individual frames encircles your pretty throat in a 15 and ½" long and 7/8" wide necklace. At the front, each one is connected only at the top to frame your face perfectly. The sides are attached at top and bottom to keep it close to the sides. The matching bracelet is 7 and 1/4" long with the same architectural design. Both necklace and bracelet are 7/8" wide and both close with classy hidden push clasps. True to their arty heritage, niello finish enhances the bracelet and necklace. Sassy is also including a pair of earrings with matching roses. Even though they were purchased at the same Scottsdale estate, she doesn't think they are by the same jeweler but they have the exact same roses and the same arty, feminine feeling. It's a thank you gift from Sassy to you. Boho is back and the art auctions reach new heights every year. Collectors are scrambling for fine examples for their collections. Top of the list has got to be this sterling parure. Sculptural in concept, feminine roses motif, sublime jewel art for the connoisseur. Excellent condition. Price $999.00 SOLD

Dear Katherine, I am glad that your web order went so well. Enjoy! Sassy

Dear Sassy, I received my silver heart bracelet yesterday. I love it. It will become a standard even with t-shirt and jeans. It was the first time I ordered off the web other than major catalog retailers, and I am glad I did. Service was wonderful. Katherine K.

VICTORIAN REVIVAL STERLING SILVER

CIRCA 1920s

Victorian Revival Green Glass Ring (not signed) Item VSR3251 Glorious antique ring is the most feminine signature you can find. The romantic Victorian feeling exudes a graceful charm not often found these hurried days. Sassy's expert opinion is that this jewel is circa 1920s, made during the popular Victorian Revival era. The gorgeous high pronged setting tests positive for sterling silver and is currently a size 5. Take a peek here to see this beauty on your finger. The high profile multi-faceted stone is a fabulous rich, deep emerald green and picks up light from everywhere. The highly detailed setting perfectly complements the showy 3/4" by 9/16" stone. The tiniest flea bite is evident only with a 14 power loupe; no chips or cracks. Life is way more hectic now, the modern look is severe and uncomfortable. Nothing like a hint of the romantic past to add that Lady-like touch to your couture. Gorgeous stone, lustrous sterling silver, a knockout, highly detailed, imposing ornate setting. Outstanding! A refined and finished look! Excellent condition. Price $285.00
