Victorian Carved Coral 14K Gold Ring (tests positive for 14K gold) Item VR8923 This glorious antique cameo ring in heavenly pink coral was carved sometime during the late 1800s or early 1900s. The carving is exquisite showing a classsic Greek lady with an upswept coiffure which sensuously drapes onto her neck. She also has flowers in her hair and she is carved in very high relief. She sits in an openwork ornate 14k gold frame which is not only beautiful but quite substantial in weight. The frame has 2 gold beads at the top and at the bottom of the frame and each side has additional gold beads. She weighs 7.8 grams.. Size 5 and 1/2, it can be resized by Sassy's jeweler for free.... Sassy will pick up the tab. The head of the ring is a showy 1" by 3/4". A beautiful antique made by an excellent artist from a good 100 years ago! It is amazingly complete. Excellent condition.
