SOLD	Miriam Haskell Fake Platinum Faux Pearls Parure (signed Miriam Haskell) Item DHP45423 One of Sassy's pickers purchased this beautiful necklace and earrings set thinking it was an authentic Miriam Haskell parure and paid a fortune for it. However, even though it is signed on the earrings and signed on the necklace, and looks a lot like a Haskell, Sassy insists that it is a fake. She says that someone apparently put it together using old Miriam Haskell pieces and passed it off as authentic. Sassy felt sorry for the picker because she had paid a lot for it and only purchased it because Sassy had been bugging her to find some pretty Haskells. So, Sassy bought it from the picker so the picker would always continue looking for Haskells but Sassy wants you to know it is not authentic, it's just very beautiful. The centerpiece is absolutely stunning with large oval faux pearls, seed pearls, and an offset big sparkling rhinestone sitting in a golden flower. Four oval pearls dangle at the center. The necklace is 17 and 3/4" long and closes with a beautiful decorative push clasp. The matching clip back earrings (with authentic Haskell findings) have 3 dangling oval pearls and swish around as you move your head. Although this parure is certainly gorgeous enough to wear and to turn heads, it is not an authentic Haskell. So, if you are a Haskell collector, don't get it unless you just want to look great! DANGLING BAROQUE PEARLS PARURE	Dangling Baroque Pearls Demi Parure (not signed) Item P4679 Sexy, sassy, chic, and classic baroque glass pearl necklace and earrings announce your presence. A strand of beautiful creamy baroque pearls capped with gold plated ornate findings starts it off. But that's just where it starts! The strand holds a to die for, dramatic combination of tear drop baroque pearl drops with rhinestone rondelles alternating with long fringes of graduated seed pearl strands. Circa 1970s, the pearls have an outstanding lustre with no peeling or discoloration. Made in the 1940s, this gorgeous 4 piece set revives that Victorian era from 1860 to 1880 that had all the wonderful gold chains, gold work and pretty stones. Luscious gold plating and lots of detail in the ornate metal frames, each one holds a beautiful emerald cut baguette rhinestone. The pendant style necklace has 3 gorgeous parts. The outstanding centerpiece has ornate leafy foliage around an engraved background. The center stone is a huge pink baguette surrounded with faux seed pearls. Dating from the late 1930s, when Jean Harlow starred in Dinner at 8, in a skin tight, bias cut satin sheath. Most likely from Germany, this fabulous bubble gum pink parure has so much ingenue pink combined with a knowing wink of hot. Pair this suite with that skimpy skin tight chemise and you know the effect is total dynamite. Gorgeous glass beads are woven with smaller equally tender pink glass beads to make a luxurious rope of pink glass.
