Well, I think Miriam Haskell's designs will put you as close to Nirvana as you can get on Earth. This incomparable Miriam Haskell parure is a gorgeous cluster of pearls encased in a beautiful golden glow. A braided golden chain suspends an impressively ornate medallion that glitters with intense white faux pearls of various kinds. There is a large baroque cabochon pearl center, round creamy and white pearls and dangling ovoid and round pearls. The necklace is 17 and 1/2" long and closes with a decorative push clasp. So what's the world look like from way up there? Well you'll know the answer because the great matching earrings will have you on Cloud Nine! HAH! Very very sexy and there are earrings to match! I truly believe that a little sparkle is not enough! This necklace and earrings are so lively and glamorous you will not want to take them off. Circa 1940s, two strands of vivid true green and emerald green crystals lead to a totally dazzling ornamental cluster of colorful glass flowers in shades of pink, yellow, and light green and decorated with rich emerald green and true green crystals. The jeweled cluster gently falls right down there - so very feminine! The high quality crystals are alive with sparkle and flash. Each crystal is separated with 2 tiny brass faceted beads (just like Haskell separators). The matinee length necklace measures 24" long and the centerpiece is 1 and 3/4" long by 1 and 1/2" wide. The matching clip back earrings, 1 and 1/2" by 1 and 1/4" repeat the lush green crystals and an ever so slightly differing cluster. No chips or cracks or missing pieces. JOMAZ HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE RARE & STUNNING!	Jomaz Stately Blue Leaves Parure (signed Jomaz) Item DJP8455 Smashing demi parure by one of my favorite designers, Jomaz. Very high quality, stunning designs, and this one is just gorgeous! Collected by the serious collectors who really know their jewelry! "Carved glass" and irredescent blue leaves come together at the throat in a trefoil design. The Mazer brothers started their high end costume jewelry company and coined the phrase, "Jewels of the Elite" in 1927. Joseph Mazer later renamed the company, Jomaz. Circa 1950s, the enchanting necklace is lined with rhinestone chatons along a rhodium plated link chain. The carved blue leaves appear to glow with an effervescence as light is caught and bounces around. The necklace is 15" long and interestingly closes with an inside out hook clasp. But there's a reason for it to be inside out! The hook is covered with rhinestone baguettes! But wait, there's more! A pair of very generous 1 and 3/8" clip back earrings are to die for. They have the same leaves and rhinestones but not to be repetitive, they are just different enough in that they are centered with a beautiful large pearl. MIRIAM HASKELL WOOD, GLASS, & CELLULOID PARURE	Miriam Haskell Turned Wood Parure (not signed) Item BDHP6499 Fabulous Miriam Haskell parure has arty style of the haute Bohemian scene, circa WWII (late 1930s to early 1940s). When Millicent Rogers chucked her debutante life and set out to be an artist in Taos, New Mexico where Georgia O'Keefe reined as the leading art dame, Miriam Haskell responded to the simpler, more natural approach to life, love and fashion. Miriam created this wonderfully rich glass bead, wood bell parure, accented with celluloid leaves and hung on a fanciful celluloid chain. Now it's 'environmentally friendly', then it was 'patriotic'. (Metal was needed for the war effort so she did not use metal during the war.) Either way, it speaks to the love of a natural aesthetic grounded in a clever use of unusual jewelry materials. Overall, the charming necklace measures 15 and 1/2" long, a little over 1 and 1/2" wide, and a full 1" thick with bells. It closes with its original vintage celluloid hook clasp. The matching bracelet features the same wooden bell beads, leaves and tiny glass beads and measures 7 and 1/4" long and also closes with its original celluloid clasp. Millicent spent her money on antiques, so much so that she amassed 5,000 pieces her sons placed in a museum when she died. The highest quality workmanship is present as is expected with a rare Leni Kuborn-Grothe jewel. This incredible artist designed fabric backed necklaces for Elsa Schiaparelli but only on very rare occasion - yes, very rare occasion. This unbelievably gorgeous parure was most likely made between the 1940s to 1950s. I believe it is one-of-a-kind. Flat backed glass faux garnets sit in triangles while 6 faux pearls sit in opposing triangles that are hand trimmed in gold metal braiding. Beautiful white pearls dangle from tiny gold seed beads. As I examine this phenomenal piece, I believe that even Miriam Haskell has nothing on this outstanding designer! It is classy, elegant, and absolutely breathtaking!! The 1 and 3/4" clip back earrings have gorgeous faux garnets surrounding a central pearl while more pearls dangle freely with your every move. The necklace is completely backed with hand sewn silk. It is adjustable from 14 and 3/4" to 16 and 1/2" long and closes with a hook clasp and a dangling pearl. VERY RARE!
