Well you'll have the pleasure of proudly announcing that you're wearing a Caviness when you're stopped in your tracks thanks to this circa 1950s Alice Caviness creation. The highest quality workmanship is present as is expected with a rare Leni Kuborn-Grothe jewel. This incredible artist designed fabric backed necklaces for Elsa Schiaparelli but only on very rare occasion - yes, very rare occasion. This unbelievably gorgeous parure was most likely made between the 1940s to 1950s. I believe it is one-of-a-kind. Flat backed glass faux garnets sit in triangles while 6 faux pearls sit in opposing triangles that are hand trimmed in gold metal braiding. Beautiful white pearls dangle from tiny gold seed beads. As I examine this phenomenal piece, I believe that even Miriam Haskell has nothing on this outstanding designer! It is classy, elegant, and absolutely breathtaking!! The 1 and 3/4" clip back earrings have gorgeous faux garnets surrounding a central pearl while more pearls dangle freely with your every move. The necklace is completely backed with hand sewn silk. It is adjustable from 14 and 3/4" to 16 and 1/2" long and closes with a hook clasp and a dangling pearl. VERY RARE! STUNNING HASKELLESQUE (vocabulary) MATINEE LENGTH GREEN CRYSTAL FLORAL PARURE	*****NEW LISTING***** Stunning Haskellesque Green Crystal Parure (not signed) Item DHP8863 Dramatic, luscious, drippy green crystal beads flowing from your neck right down into your cleavage and you thought no one would notice. HAH! Very very sexy and there are earrings to match! I truly believe that a little sparkle is not enough! This necklace and earrings are so lively and glamorous you will not want to take them off. Circa 1940s, two strands of vivid true green and emerald green crystals lead to a totally dazzling ornamental cluster of colorful glass flowers in shades of pink, yellow, and light green and decorated with rich emerald green and true green crystals. The jeweled cluster gently falls right down there - so very feminine! The high quality crystals are alive with sparkle and flash. Each crystal is separated with 2 tiny brass faceted beads (just like Haskell separators). The matinee length necklace measures 24" long and the centerpiece is 1 and 3/4" long by 1 and 1/2" wide. The matching clip back earrings, 1 and 1/2" by 1 and 1/4" repeat the lush green crystals and an ever so slightly differing cluster. No chips or cracks or missing pieces. The shape is more like a floral bouquet, with gold gilt filigree and glass flowers. The clasp is at the back. Both pieces are well proportioned and absolutely stunning. SOLD CELLULOID PARURE	*****NEW LISTING***** Art Deco Green Celluloid and Bakelite Parure (not signed) Item BP98944 It's hard enough to find a 1930s art deco necklace. But to find the matching earrings? Well! That's close to impossible! This great looking parure is from the late 1930s. The triangles are celluloid and the black disc beads are Bakelite. The earrings have a raised black stripe and it is too narrow for me to be able to tell if it is celluloid or Bakelite. But boy, what a statement this beautiful set makes! It is slightly translucent and the triangles are thicker at the top and thinner at their points. Great architectural design. Very deco. The necklace closes with its original screw barrel clasp. MIRIAM HASKELL WOOD, GLASS, & CELLULOID PARURE	Miriam Haskell Turned Wood Parure (not signed) Item BDHP6499 Fabulous Miriam Haskell parure has arty style of the haute Bohemian scene, circa WWII (late 1930s to early 1940s). When Millicent Rogers chucked her debutante life and set out to be an artist in Taos, New Mexico where Georgia O'Keefe reined as the leading art dame, Miriam Haskell responded to the simpler, more natural approach to life, love and fashion. Miriam created this wonderfully rich glass bead, wood bell parure, accented with celluloid leaves and hung on a fanciful celluloid chain. Now it's 'environmentally friendly', then it was 'patriotic'. (Metal was needed for the war effort so she did not use metal during the war.) Either way, it speaks to the love of a natural aesthetic grounded in a clever use of unusual jewelry materials. Overall, the charming necklace measures 15 and 1/2" long, a little over 1 and 1/2" wide, and a full 1" thick with bells. It closes with its original vintage celluloid hook clasp. The matching bracelet features the same wooden bell beads, leaves and tiny glass beads and measures 7 and 1/4" long and also closes with its original celluloid clasp. Millicent spent her money on antiques, so much so that she amassed 5,000 pieces her sons placed in a museum when she died. Ciner is known for high quality workmanship and outstanding designs. This elegant demi parure is no exception. Beautiful richly gold plated architectural panels are separated with rows of chanel set rhinestones, faux white onyx and further decorated with faux sapphire ovals. A little over 15 and 1/2" long, it is 1" wide at the front. The panels connect to a thick and wide mesh goldplated herringbone band. It closes with a rhinestone decorated foldover clasp. The 1 and 1/4" long curved clip back earrings are 1/2" wide and are strikng on their own. They have repeating panels of a faux sapphire, rhinestones, and onyx. Stately and sassy! JOMAZ HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE RARE & STUNNING!	Jomaz Stately Blue Leaves Parure (signed Jomaz) Item DJP8455 Smashing demi parure by one of my favorite designers, Jomaz. Gorgeous "carved glass" and irredescent blue leaves come together at the throat in a trefoil design. The Mazer brothers started their high end costume jewelry company and coined the phrase, "Jewels of the Elite" in 1927. Joseph Mazer later renamed the company, Jomaz. Circa 1950s, the enchanting necklace is lined with rhinestone chatons along a rhodium plated link chain. The carved blue leaves appear to glow with an effervescence as light is caught and bounces around. The necklace is 15" long and interestingly closes with an inside out hook clasp. But there's a reason for it to be inside out! The hook is covered with rhinestone baguettes! But wait, there's more! A pair of very generous 1 and 3/8" clip back earrings are to die for. They have the same leaves and rhinestones but not to be repetitive, they are just different enough in that they are centered with a beautiful large pearl. Art and nature merge in necklace and earrings that borrow from the organic shapes of plants to form a marvelously ambiguous artistic design. This unusual set has all the obvious hallmarks of a Matisse -- enameling over copper, variegation of color, dappling of color over a base color that graduates in intensity, and flip-over leaves. Good design borrows not only the obvious from nature, the shapes and structures, but also how those elements respond to light and shadow.
