SOLD MIRIAM HASKELL PARURE	Miriam Haskell Pearl and Pastel Beaded Parure (signed Miriam Haskell) Item DHP8900 This spectacular designer set is to die for! Miriam Haskell baroque pearls set the stage but oh my! The magnificent layered centerpiece is the star! Over a large white baroque mabe pearl are layers of smaller pearls that are encircled with either pink or blue glass seed beads. Beautiful colors, these sit on pate' de verre (vocabulary) decorated gold gilt leaves and vines. It is a showy asymetrical 2 and 1/4" tall by 2" wide. The necklace is adjustable from 15" to 16 and 1/2" and closes with a decorative hook clasp and dangling baroque pearls. If that isn't enough, we have the matching co-starring bracelet! It is absolutely magnificent in its own right and doesn't even need a necklace to make its own show. Large baroque mabe (vocabulary) pearls sit toward each end of a double baroque pearl coil (so it will fit any size wrist) and are enhanced by fabulous pink and blue encircled amaller pearls. Again, pate' de verre sit on golden leaves and vines. No detail is left for the imagination. It's all right there! And all of this incredible workmanship is beautifully wired to filigree backs. SOLD MIRIAM HASKELL PARURE	Miriam Haskell Elaborate Pearls and Green Glass Cascading Parure (signed Miriam Haskell) Item DHP8861 What a treasure! This hard to find elaborate 1950s Haskell parure is tremendously ornate and glamorous. Believed to be by Frank Hess, her top designer and beginning with her signature flower motif, beautiful mother of pearl rosettes studded with emerald green rhinestones are set in fancy gold filigree beauties that hold draping grape like clusters. Each cluster of baroque seed pearls and green glass beads in 3 different colors cascade dramatically from their ornate bases.. prong set flat backed emerald rhinestones set the mood with luster and sparkle. These signature Haskell pearls are in 2 sizes from 6 mm smaller pearls to a classic 8 mm baroque pearl at the bottom. The color is Haskell's elegant off white -- something softer and smokier than her cream colored pearls -- very romantic! There is no doubt that these are genuine Haskell. The rosettes are painstakingly handwired to the ornate filigree gold gilt brass bases. The necklace is 16 and 1/2" long. The clusters are a generous 1 and 1/4" long and the necklace is 1 and 3/4" wide, quite dramatic yet not over the top so you can wear it out for dinner, for a formal event, or to work... that is if you own the place or have a lot of clout. Sassy is parting with a phenomenal designer antique parure from her private collection and this is a not to be missed opportunity. Sparkling enormous rhinestones with lots of sparkle sit in elaborately closed-backed ornate gold gilt filigree frames. A crystal rimmed with flat backed rhinestoens sit on each side of the 3 main rhinestones and a frilly gold braid rims the top of the necklaces The centerpiece then attaches to crystals separated with tiny gold faceted beads, a pretty fanned crystal bead, and a rhinestone rondelle. My Goodness! What else could be going on?! The is 14 and 3/8" long and closes with a pretty gold filigree decorative crystal and rhinestone push clasp.
