He designed most of the necklaces for the movies during the 1930s and 1940s. This stunning highly collectible designer necklace polishes like sterling and Sassy's assistant polished it just enough to make it look fabulous. She cleverly left a little patina to show its beautiful age. Believed to be circa 1930s and designed for the movies, the detail in this drop dead gorgeous designer floral necklace is amazing and the quality is second to none! Layered silver petals in graduating sizes surround a bezel set ruby red high-domed cabachon at the center. The necklace is 16" long and closes with a hidden hook clasp. Flanking each side of the drop dead gorgeous centerpiece is a smaller version of the same floral theme. Most likely a one of a kind piece, the Joseff Hollywood jewelry with colorful stones is the most collectible. Leave it to Sassy to find the best! This late 1930's Joseff demi parure is a prime example of his mastery of the dramatic. Like a scene from a silver screen epic of the past, the impact of these pieces is profound. This empirically designed brass brooch embraces regal airs filled with pomp and circumstance.
