SOLD VINTAGE BUTTERFLY FIGURAL NECKLACE	Stanley Hagler N.Y.C. Butterfly Runway Necklace (signed Stanley Hagler, N.Y.C.) Item DSHN9465 This important piece was purchased in New Orleans at an estate sale. It is a show stopper and was designed by Stanley Hagler in the mid 1980s, during the Hollywood Era. To say it is over the top, would not do it justice. It is WAAAY over the top! Beautiful amber crystals with black opaque bead separators lead down to the most spectacular butterfly centerpiece. The butterfly is made of the stunningly gorgeous ornate poured art glass in amber and in opaque black. It is studded with Italian gold speckled glass cabachons, super large amber rhinestones set in ornate frames, little black opaque flower beads, and black rhinestones. Click again if you want to see the actual size of the butterfly which is a magnificent 3 and 7/8" wide by 2 and 3/4" tall. The necklace is quite long and is adjustable from 21" to 24" long not including the 4 and 7/8" long crystal dangles with black opaque crystal enders. When Stanley Hagler moved from New York City to Florida, he signed his pieces with a period after the initials of N.Y.C. Later, when others took over his business the pieces were signed without the periods after the initials OR they were signed with an additional designer's signature. This outstanding necklace is very special in that it has Stanley's own signature. It closes with dangling crystals. Create an audience with this phenomenal designer runway necklace.
