And this circa 1940s sterling silver and rhinestone necklace is just plain outstanding! The construction is of the highest quality and the design is top drawer! It's a nice weight at 62.6 grams The rhinestones in this piece sparkle like there's no tomorrow. The dramatic double looped drop of huge rhinestones is a very generous and sexy 4 and 1/2" long, lands just above the bosom and flashes like crazy. Rhinestones also surround your neck in a double row of sparkle. Sassy kept saying that she wishes she was a better photographer because she can't capture the full beauty of this extravagant jewel. The necklace is 14 and 1/2" long and closes with a foldover clasp. If you don't have at least one Jay Flex jewel in your collection, this would be THE one to get! *****NEW LISTING***** Important Rare Leni Kuborn-Grothe Pearl Parure (signed Leni Kuborn-Grothe , Kitzbuhel) Item DKG8855 This is one of the most important, most elaborately detailed, most exquisite parures I have ever had the pleasure of owning. The highest quality workmanship is present as is expected with a rare Leni Kuborn-Grothe jewel. This incredible artist designed fabric backed necklaces for Elsa Schiaparelli but only on very rare occasion - yes, very rare occasion. This unbelievably gorgeous parure was most likely made between the 1940s to 1950s. I believe it is one-of-a-kind. Flat backed glass faux garnets sit in triangles while 6 faux pearls sit in opposing triangles that are hand trimmed in gold metal braiding. Beautiful white pearls dangle from tiny gold seed beads. As I examine this phenomenal piece, I believe that even Miriam Haskell has nothing on this outstanding designer! It is classy, elegant, and absolutely breathtaking!! The 1 and 3/4" clip back earrings have gorgeous faux garnets surrounding a central pearl while more pearls dangle freely with your every move. The necklace is completely backed with hand sewn silk. It is adjustable from 14 and 3/4" to 16 and 1/2" long and closes with a hook clasp and a dangling pearl. VERY RARE! Excellent condition. $2400.00 SOLD |

Jomaz Stately Blue Leaves Parure (signed Jomaz) Item DJP8455 Smashing demi parure by one of my favorite designers, Jomaz. Gorgeous "carved glass" and irredescent blue leaves come together at the throat in a trefoil design. The Mazer brothers started their high end costume jewelry company and coined the phrase, "Jewels of the Elite" in 1927. Joseph Mazer later renamed the company, Jomaz. Circa 1950s, the enchanting necklace is lined with rhinestone chatons along a rhodium plated link chain. The carved blue leaves appear to glow with an effervescence as light is caught and bounces around. The necklace is 15" long and interestingly closes with an inside out hook clasp. But there's a reason for it to be inside out! The hook is covered with rhinestone baguettes! But wait, there's more! A pair of very generous 1 and 3/8" clip back earrings are to die for. They have the same leaves and rhinestones but not to be repetitive, they are just different enough in that they are centered with a beautiful large pearl. Stylish and highly collectible designer parure. Excellent condition. Price $495.00

Jonne Opera Length Sautoir Parure (signed Jonne) Item DJHP8192 Fabulous style as only Jonne can do! And this is special Jonne to boot. Made by the House of Schrager only from approximately 1950 to 1960, this early 1950s find is just awesome. The rich aqua color is to die for! A sautoir is a long necklace and this is an incredible 35 and 1/2", that is right, almost a yard long necklace that is cleverly designed to be worn any way you want. Gold gilt fur clips, that is, clips with 1" long double pointed pins or prongs, discretely hide behind the tassels, allowing you to wear this superb necklace in any of a million ways. The matching clip back earrings are 1 and 1/2" long versions of those tassels. Whether you wear it on your hat, around your waist or traditionally as a necklace, it is over the top!
