It is framed by a bevy of sparkling diamonds for a truly striking display of luxury. Circa 1930s, when glamour and femininity coupled with practicality were perfectly matched in a real golden age of magnificent watches. Fabulous ornamented open work in white gold designs on either side, looking like jeweled flowers are just the beginning. There are 8 diamonds in all and these are combined with clever flower-like holders and the lugs taper to illusion heads (vocabulary) to enhance the show and give the appearance of a higher carat weight. The eliptical face is made even more slender with the addition of a swirls of 4 diamonds on each end. It features beautiful white gold markers on a silvery white background marking each hour. The face is original and easy to read. The 8 diamonds are .03 points each, totaling 24 points or approximately 1/4 of a carat of pure dazzle! Of course the fortunate wearer of this distinguished watch will appreciate those diamonds as well as the gorgeous, lustrous 14k white gold frilly design! Art Deco Bulova Emeralds and Diamonds Watch (signed Bulova Swiss, 17 Jewels) Item BW41229 It's noon on the 12th of April, there she sits at a small cafe waiting for her husband. He's late but she is not upset. She sits at their regular table staring at her watch, a beautiful white gold filled watch with with 2 sparkling diamonds and 4 emeralds that he got her for their 22nd anniversary. It drapes perfectly over her elegant wrist or is it the watch that makes her wrist so elegant, either way the minutes past perfectly as the 6 stones, a stone for every year they have been wed, sparkle in her eyes. She just had it cleaned and serviced last week and it keeps time perfectly. The face is pristine! She suddenly drifts off in memory of the card that accompanied the gift box, "I love you all the time." He scored points for that one. She then opens the adjustable foldover clasp which adjusts from 5 and 1/2" to 6", staring closer at the diamonds and emeralds that dance in the light. Sassy can put a different but similar 1920s band on if you need a larger oneor change it to a black cord band at your request. As he walks in the door she gets lost in his green eyes, eyes that are almost as green as the emeralds. He said "I'm sorry I'm late." She then closes the clasp and replies with a smile "Late?
