SOLD VICTORIAN BOHEMIAN GARNETS NECKLACE *****NEW
LISTING***** Victorian 9K Gold
Bohemian Garnets Necklace (tests positive for 9K
gold) Item FVN8824 She had been seventeen years his
bride, and yet David knew, as he watched her dress for the
party, that in a world of women he could see only one. On
this night, she stood at her dressing table and captured him
all over again. From the fastening of a garter to the sweet
fall of satin over her shoulders, he couldn't help but
stare. He stood well behind her in the intimate distance of
their joint room, and he saw her lift her hair up to pin it,
then slip a lovely necklace around her throat - slowly,
slowly drawing it over her skin, this
1860s to 1880s antique necklace of rose cut Bohemian
garnets, as though
it were as pleasing to the touch as it was to sight.
Perfect. Setting off the high color of her complexion and
the light in her eyes this evening, the necklace sparkled in
the lamplight and reminded him that he had never known skin
so sweet. "Here," he said, unable to stand the distance any
longer. "Let me help you." He
fastened the decorative garnet push
clasp of the 16
and 1/4" necklace and watched the dangles drop towards her
bosom, then touched the row of tiny buttons on the back of
her gown, kissing as he did so. Then, wrapping his arms
around her, he braided his fingers through the sweep of
shimmering garnets and gazed at his wife in the mirror.
"Caught," she whispered, referring to herself. "Yes," he
answered. "I am." Catch the enchantment. Exquisite color and
sparkle from the 1860s to 1880s. Every collector should have
a Victorian Bohemian Garnets Necklace and be caught. And
this one is exceptional. Excellent condition. Price $1800.00

GOLD 1920s ANTIQUE NECKLACE Victorian Revival
Diamond and Emerald, Platinum and Gold Necklace (tests
positive for platinum and 14K gold) Item FAV8324
You are the very definition of what a woman should be.
Smart, sexy, seductive, and sophisticated. You are a goddess
in your own right and so it is fitting then, that you should
be surrounded with glitter as bright as the sun. This circa
1920s Victorian Revival necklace is the definitive signature
piece you've always envisioned. In
fact, it glitters and sparles even when the light is not
shining directly on it!! The top layer is platinum and that
includes the whole elaborate ribbon design, the lower
leaves, and the 20 diamond links that go all the way around
the neck. A
dainty, airy design of diamond encrusted, ivy leaves and
sweeping, curving diamond ribbons of platinum instills a
sense of imperial regency to the woman that wears this
intoxicating collection of luxurious gems. Five large
emeralds of exceptional quality decorate each of the
necklace's arcing swags, adding to the sumptuous shimmer of
the necklace's centerpiece. Each florid panel of leaves and
ribbons is separated by a shockingly beautiful focal, set
off by sparkling white diamond rays with heart-shaped tops,
and an emerald focal that descends into a long, lucid
diamond form with a single large emerald glimmering below.
There are approximately 5 carats of emeralds. There are 302
single cut diamonds adding up to approximately 4 carats. The
necklace is made up of 2 complete layers.. Ahh, you say, you
want to see that platinum chain around the neck?
Here
is the platinum and diamond
chain. So to
speak, there is a complete necklace underneath welded to the
top with a space inbetween to allow the diamonds and
emeralds to breathe. The
under necklace and the emerald mountings, swags, connecting
links, and secondary leaves are 14K
gold. The necklace
measures 15 and 7/8" long and closes with a diamond studded
push clasp which was probably added around the 1940s. You
will never find a more engaging, enrapturing and magnificent
necklace than this one. Well worthy of being placed with the
Crown Jewels, you'll be perfection itself in the eyes of the
entire world. Excellent condition. Price

Art Nouveau Amethyst and Pearl Ring (signed 10K) Item VR6933 Soft. Sensual. Elegant. Refined. The curve embodies so many elements of feminine beauty. Perhaps this is what led to the revolution of the Art Nouveau Era and the creation of this circa 1890s to 1910 Art Nouveau ring. Long, flowing curved lines and the appreciation of womanly charm are two of the key focuses of this amazing short lived artistic era which can be witnessed in the 10K gold design of this dramatic ring. The band with all of its flourishes widens as it reaches the upward with gentle curves embracing the top of the ring. Long scrolling lines form heart-shaped designs on both sides with a diamond shape where they meet. Atop the ring is a large, ornate gold openwork frame which sits in a solid gold cushion that opens in the center where the stone sits sturdily. Embellished with cultured pearls in sets of three, placed at angles for softness, it leads the eyes to a single, large faceted amethyst gem. The massive amethyst is absolutely breathtaking in it's depth of color and sheer size. Beautifully faceted and very clear, it is a 6 carat amethyst that demands attention. The ring is 1 and 1/8" long by 7/8" wide and is a ring size 8 which can be resized at no additional cost at your request. You'll fall head over heels in love with this Art Nouveau sensation that was designed with ladylike loveliness in mind. Beautifully preserved for 100 years, it is a fine antique. Excellent condition. Price $999.00 SOLD |

Dear Barbara, Oh dear. I MUST quote you. (*_*). Thank you!! Sassy |
I got my necklace on Wednesday, and I wore it to an awards banquet last night. More time was spent oohing and aahing over my necklace than was spent listening to the announcers. I love it! Thanks, Barbara |
1860s JET CAMEO NECKLACE ANTIQUE JET |
Rare Victorian Jet Cameo Mourning Necklace (not signed) Item FVCN6945 In the Victorian Era, during the time of Queen Victoria's mourning for her beloved husband, jewelry made of Jet became not only required court attire but the influence of the Queen's court mandate made it fashionable wear for daily life. This unbelievably beautiful, ornately carved circa 1860s Jet cameo necklace is a museum quality example of the skilled artisanship of the Victorian Age. A massive chain of hexagonal links with faceted edging is joined by huge ovals with faceted edges and intricately etched and carved designs. This necklace is a piece of artistic mastery, which is further evidenced by the three astounding cameos ( etched on both sides of each one) suspended from vertically aligned circle rings attached to the grandiose chain. Take a look at the closeup of the cameos. This family of fine ladies remain eternally vigilant and at the ready for the occasion when the Queen might call for their service. In the interim, they wait at your beckoned call to serve you as elegant attendants to your own beauty. These lovely ladies come bearing gifts! Each one of your ladies-in-waiting has an engraved rose on her cameo's flipside giving this necklace incredible versatility and unlimited potential. The center cameo is 2 and 1/4" long and dangles 3 and 1/4" while the smaller adjacent cameos are 1 and 7/8" long. The 20" long chain still has its original hidden push clasp intact and it still works very well. This cameo necklace has some minor scratches here and there which is entirely appropriate for a piece that is over 140 years old and attests to its authenticity. The fact that it has survived virtually unscathed to the 21st century is a testament to the overall craftsmanship and durability of this rare Victorian necklace. Possess a fascinating piece with great historical significance and startling beauty when you purchase this very rare Victorian Jet cameo necklace. Excellent condition. Price $2400.00
